I may have to go see it.
We saw "The Green Hornet" - fun movie for little boys- I was left with the feeling it could have been so much better if not played for laughs. The GH came across as a five-year-old in a grown man's body. If I were a man, I'd be offended. Kato was awesome, though. Cheers~Nancy J. Nevertheless, it worked because, although raw, it was realistic to the community. My favorite line in the movie was spoken by Amy Adams: "...we're together!"Martyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13048847365398559366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1029827633604595044.post-40368353632507735542011-01-30T10:58:53.372-08:002011-01-30T10:58:53.372-08:00Actually "The Fighter" was really a grea...Actually "The Fighter" was really a great movie and well worth seeing on the big screen. My wife and I both enjoyed it and she does not care much for boxing either.

A friend of mine saw "Black Swan" and told me it was way too depressing. The truth is that both movies are about dysfunctional family dynamics built around either ballet or boxing.

Personally I like upbeat endings. :)Martyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13048847365398559366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1029827633604595044.post-49918372608749180612011-01-28T12:09:09.490-08:002011-01-28T12:09:09.490-08:00Happy Birthday, Nick.

Love that movie.

As for critics ... I never read reviews. Never have. I don't read them for books, either. Nope. Nope. Nope.

Did you see Cinderella Man?The Happy Whiskhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13438469476168485775noreply@blogger.com
