I have written 60 pages in the last three days. I had no idea typing could make your hands hurt. Yes, I have the ergonomic keyboard...hmmm. Today I hope to hit the halfway point on word count- word count for Harlequin Intrigue is 55-60,000 words. So it is just over half the size of a single title book.
The good news is -it's a fun story and I'm having a good time. But I find when I'm getting tired, my characters get tired-so I'm taking more breaks to keep the energy up. Coffee helps, too.
You are a champion! Keep going, Nancy.
ReplyDeleteI have regular keyboards myself. Can't stand those ergonomic, split things.
Maybe that's why I can't get as high a word count as you. (G)

I also think frequent snacking helps...my favorites are peanuts, pretzels and raisins.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Anita! I like peanuts, raisins and chocolate chips- kind of my own trail mix.
ReplyDeleteYou're amazing, Nancy!
ReplyDeleteDiet Mountain is what fuels me in a deadline pinch like this one.
Good to know you're having fun. That's bound to make a good story even better.
Onward to Glory!
