August 2

Hello, my friends. After an awesome weekend of fun with my guests, I got on line and up popped a computer virus. SIGH. I ran an antivirus check-and it said I didn't have one, but I clearly did as I could not get on line or control my computer. So I went into safe mode and ran a malware check (looking for ugly worms and trojan viruses.) It, too came up clean. Huh. So I ran a line by line scan with my antivirus program. Nothing found... Still could not come up safely in regular windows. So I went back and tried a system restore. So, far, that seems to have done the trick.
My point being, if you don't hear from me, please assume I'm having computer troubles. I'll do my best to keep you all in my life. As my on-line work is so much fun and you all are very important to me.

Hope you have a great week! Cheers~

  2. Been there. Spent a couple weeks total this year using the library's compuetrs and Internet as I had my PC in to have the hard drive wiped clean a couple times. Hope you're up and running soon.

  3. Ugg. Honestly, why do some people out there think it's amusing to create these stupid viruses? They're like the techno-geek version of Dr. Evil.

I can just see some bald, powder-white-faced guy hovering in front of a computer screen with his pinky to his mouth. "Bwwa-ha-ha-ha. I'm going to infect One-MILLION--I mean, one-BILLION--computers today.

  4. Thanks everyone,
I secretly suspect that antivirus software companies pay people to create new viruses so they can sell their products. But then again, I do like a good conspiracy theory. :)
    Cheers~
