Jan. 3

It is the first Monday of a new year and all the holidays are over. Whew. Things are not back to normal here, yet. My darling daughter, (dd), is still home from school and is working many hours so there is chauffeuring to do since she does not own a car. I leave for my week at school on Friday. (The 4th out of 5 residencies for my MA.) Gah! Is all I can think. I'm still critiquing work for workshops. I need to figure out what I'm packing, etc. Plus I have a self made deadline to finish a book tomorrow. No Pressure. lol
How about you? What is on your plate this first week of the new year? Are things back to normal yet? Cheers~

  2. There's a book I'm trying to force myself to finish, but I've come to some difficult points and the more I make myself write on it, the worse it gets (at least it seems bad to me). Hopefully, I'll be able to go back during revisions and fix all the stuff I had to gag my way through because I really love the beginning and the overall plot. Oh well. We'll see. Good luck to you on your goal.

  3. Hi L. Diane, yay for speaking gigs.

Linda, I feel that way every book I write. So, hugs, and I know you can make it work. Cheers~
